The annual NIMAC conference is the focus of the years activities. Since 1999, it has gone from strength to strength, now routinely attracting 300 plus delegates, a very strong trade display that is limited to 45 booths to ensure that delegates are able to get around to all of them, and a great speaking program.
The 2011 NIMAC conference will be held on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of July at Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast
July 20th will be a Clinical Workshop day, with the Conference being held on the 21st and 22nd. Stay tuned for more details.

2011 NIMAC Inaugural Study Tour
This tour is being arranged for early September 2011 and delegates will visit the Netherlands and Singapore, visiting a range of Aged Care providers. If you wish to register an expression of interest to be a part of this study tour, please email us at info@nimac.com.au. Delegate numbers will be limited to 20, so don't delay or you may miss out. The tour will commence in Amsterdam on 2/9/11 and conclude in Singapore on 13/9/11. The cost will be $4800 plus airfares.

Executive Resource Group - Professional Achievement Award
The Professional Achievement Award is a joint initiative between NIMAC Inc and Executive Resource Group Care to support professional development within the aged care sector. This award is given in recognition of a piece of work, or a program that has contributed significantly to the sector. This award is in recognition of professional achievement within the sector and the Recipient will be provided a fully funded place on NIMAC's next International Study Tour (September 2011). Total Prize is valued at $7,500. (Includes tour cost/accommodation/airfares, any remaining monies up to $7,500 will be provided as spending money). The award will be judged against the following judging criteria:
- Innovation - Characterised by successfully undertaking a new project, evidence of new thinking etc.
- Quality outcome - Benefits gained.
- Contribution to the aged care sector - How has this helped the industry generally.

Breakfast Forums
Our breakfast forums are a great way to communicate with others in the aged care industry in an easy going manner. Our forums are held every 3 months and include presentations from keynote speakers and group discussions.
Our speakers cover a wide range of management topics and general aged care work practices that anyone working in the industry will find useful.
All Breakfast forums will be held at Fitzy's Loganholme commencing at 7.30am for breakfast and then followed by guest speaker/s.
NOTE: If you RSVP to attend a function and then do not attend, NIMAC has to absorb the cost of your non-attendance.
